Philly Loves Beer is a 501(c)7 nonprofit overseen by a board of directors comprised of seventeen industry professionals. We have two employees, our executive director and a director of development.

This annual fundraiser allows Philly Loves Beer to continue its work promoting beer tourism, education, and local brewery support, while maintaining Philadelphia's high profile status as "America's Best Beer Drinking City"

To draw attention to America’s Best Beer-Drinking City by focusing on the variety of outstanding beer offered today in the Greater Philadelphia region and promote beer tourism to our region

To promote and support our member businesses year-round through traditional and new media. To create a beer-literate consumer through educational events and talks and to encourage them to participate in Philadelphia’s rich brewing culture. To act as a resource for “all things beer” in the Greater Philadelphia region through content on our website and through connecting our local brewing community with the larger state and national brewing communities. To program and execute Philly Beer Week, our primary festival.

 

Philly Beer Week

To celebrate Philadelphia as America’s Best Beer-Drinking City with a ten-day festival beginning the Friday following Memorial Day To promote the events occurring in this time frame through traditional and new media with a focus on our member businesses.
